BRYN is a brand of House of Nordic LLC (“we,” “us,” or “our”). We value your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, share, and protect your information when you visit https://bryngrill.com and buy from us. It applies to customers and visitors in the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, Australia, New Zealand and anywhere else we ship.

House of Nordic LLC, Cheyenne, Wyoming, United States, is responsible for your personal information. In the UK, that makes us the “data controller.”

1. Information We Collect

• Personal Information: your name, shipping and billing address, email address, and phone number when you place an order or contact us.
• Payment Information: collected by secure, PCI-compliant third-party payment providers. We do not store full payment card numbers.
• Website Data: your IP address, device identifiers, browser type, pages visited, and browsing behavior, collected through cookies and similar technologies.
• Customer Service Information: order history, warranty claims, return requests, and messages you send to our support team.

We collect this information directly from you, automatically when you use our website, and from service providers such as payment processors and advertising platforms. You need to give us your name, address, email and payment details to place an order. Without them we cannot process your purchase. Everything else is optional.

2. How We Use Your Information and Our Legal Bases

We only send marketing messages where the law allows. That means with your consent in Canada, the UK, Australia and New Zealand, and as permitted by law in the US. Every marketing email includes an unsubscribe link, and you can opt out at any time.

We do not use your personal information for automated decisions that have legal or similarly significant effects on you.

3. Sharing of Information

We share your information only when necessary:

• Service Providers: shipping carriers, payment processors, our e-commerce platform and hosting providers, email marketing platforms, customer support tools, analytics providers, and advertising platforms. They only use your information to provide services to us.
• Legal Requirements: when required by law, subpoena, court order, or government request, or to protect our legal rights.
• Business Transfers: if our business or brand is sold or merged, your information may transfer to the new owner under this policy.

We do not sell your personal information for money. Some US state laws (such as California’s CCPA/CPRA) define “sale” or “sharing” to include certain advertising-related data transfers, such as through advertising cookies and pixels. You can opt out of this as described in Section 7.

4. International Data Transfers

We are based in the United States, and our service providers may process your information in the US, Canada, the European Union and other countries. These countries may have different data protection laws than where you live.

When we transfer personal information out of the UK, we use legally recognized safeguards. These include the UK International Data Transfer Addendum to the EU Standard Contractual Clauses, or transfers to providers certified under the UK Extension to the EU-US Data Privacy Framework. For customers in Australia, New Zealand and Canada, we take reasonable steps to ensure overseas recipients protect your information to a standard comparable to your local privacy law.

5. Data Retention

We keep personal information only as long as we need it:

• Order and transaction records: for as long as required for tax, accounting and legal purposes, generally up to 7 years.
• Customer service and warranty records: for as long as your warranty or claim is active, plus any period required by law.
• Marketing data: until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete it.
• Website and cookie data: for the lifetime of the relevant cookie, or as set in your cookie preferences.

When information is no longer needed, we securely delete or anonymize it.

6. Cookies and Tracking Technologies

We use cookies, pixels and similar technologies to:

• Make our website work properly (essential cookies)
• Analyze traffic and user behavior
• Personalize content, product recommendations and offers
• Show you relevant ads on other platforms and measure how they perform

Where the law requires it, including in the UK, we ask for your consent before setting non-essential cookies. You can change your choices at any time through our cookie banner or your browser settings. US residents can also opt out of cross-context behavioral advertising as described in Section 7.

7. Your Privacy Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:

• Access the personal information we hold about you
• Correct inaccurate or incomplete information
• Delete your personal information
• Receive your information in a portable format
• Restrict or object to how we use your information, including for direct marketing
• Withdraw your consent at any time, without affecting earlier processing
• Opt out of the sale or sharing of your information, or targeted advertising
• Not be discriminated against for exercising your rights

United Kingdom: You have all the rights listed above under the UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ico.org.uk).

Australia: Under the Privacy Act 1988 and the Australian Privacy Principles, you can access and correct your personal information. If you are not satisfied with how we handle a complaint, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (oaic.gov.au).

New Zealand: Under the Privacy Act 2020, you can access and correct your personal information. If you are not satisfied with our response, you can complain to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner (privacy.org.nz).

Canada: Under the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) and applicable provincial laws, including Quebec’s Law 25, you can access and correct your personal information and withdraw consent. You can also complain to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada (priv.gc.ca) or your provincial privacy regulator.

United States: Residents of California, Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, Utah, Texas, Oregon and other states with comprehensive privacy laws may have the rights listed above. California residents also have the right to know the categories and specific pieces of personal information we collect, the categories of sources, the business purposes for collecting it, and the categories of third parties we share it with. You may also designate an authorized agent to make requests on your behalf. Nevada residents may opt out of the sale of certain covered information.

How to exercise your rights: Email Contact@Bryngrill.com with your request. We will verify your identity before acting on it and respond within the time required by your local law. That is one month in the UK, 30 days in Australia and Canada, 20 working days in New Zealand, and 45 days in California.

9. Data Security

We use reasonable technical, administrative, and physical safeguards to protect your information against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or loss. No method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security. If a data breach is likely to cause you serious harm, we will notify you and the relevant authorities as required by law.

10. Children’s Privacy

Our website and services are not directed at children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information. In the US, we comply with the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) for children under 13. If we learn we have collected a child’s information, we will delete it. If you believe a child has given us personal information, please contact us.

11. Do Not Track

Some browsers send a “Do Not Track” signal. There is no industry standard for how to respond, so we do not currently respond to these signals. We do honor opt-out requests and cookie choices as described above.

12. Warranty and Product Claims

If you make a warranty claim or report a product issue, we collect extra information such as the product you bought, your date of purchase, and photos of the issue. We use this only to handle your claim and provide product support. We keep it for as long as your warranty applies and as required by law.

13. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The “Last Updated” date at the top shows the latest revision. If we make significant changes, we will let you know by email or a notice on our website.

14. Governing Law

This Privacy Policy is governed by the laws of the State of Wyoming, United States. This does not take away any rights you have under the privacy laws of your country, which will always apply where they give you more protection.
